The Grand Ole Opry

Mini Golf

We ended up near the Grand Ole Opry for mini golf and go kart rides.

Worked out perfect as I wanted to see the new Opry building!

Peter has beat Joe in mini golf twice now but Joe had the faster go kart.

Country Music Hall of Fame

Spent all my time at the section of Johnny Cash & Bob Dylan.

Dylan recorded his Blonde on Blonde album here.

Johnny Cash had a hit single that was written by Dylan.

Biking on the Cumberland River

a SUNNY day on the river bend path

We rented bikes through the Nashville B-cycle stations.

 Biked about 8 miles round trip to the Cumberland River pedestrian bridge.

Of course...the boys would get ahead of me but I would come around a bend and there they were waiting for me.

Such a sweet SON!

We drove through University of Illinois campus.

Behind the boys are guys playing baseball

but when we pulled up Joe says "I think they are playing cricket".

ended up in a used book store and found I wonderful copy of Jane Austin's Pride and Prejudice.
Then sat and had a wonderful cup of coffee and completed a sudoko!!
